| Derby Locomotive works in rear, taken from Derby Station, I think. The Austerity was used on the Cromford and High Peak, I believe. |

| This looks like the Lickey Incline, in which case the loco might well be 92079.
The early BR emblem on the tender and the carmine/cream coach would suggest perhaps 1958/9 as a date. The only confusing thing is that the train is on the wrong line and would normally be descending the hill on that track. It could be a Sunday, with engineering possession of the other track? |

| It's like the Lickey Incline. You can see the headlamp on the 9F. |

| Picture of 33205 is in fact Tunbridge Wells Central. The Route Indicator on the signal confirms this, as St. Leonards Warrior Square signals hadn't got any. Also the houses above the tunnel.
The train is the High Brooms Oil Tanks. It has been given the road round to Tunbridge Wells West, where the 33 will run round its train, before heading back to High Brooms, and then set back into the oil siding from the Up Line. (Connection into this siding was by setting back off the Up Line only).
Tried to post this on u.k railway but it didn't appear. |
